Performance
This model has an engine with a total output of 378 kW (514 hp), reaching 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and has a top speed of 217 km/h. With a total torque of 493 Nm and all-wheel drive (AWD), the Model Y delivers solid performance and handling.
Battery and range
The car has a lithium-ion battery with a nominal capacity of 78.1 kWh and a usable capacity of 75.0 kWh. With a total number of cells of 4416 and a 400 V architecture, it offers a range of up to 435 km on a single charge.
Charging
The Model Y has a Type 2 charging port and supports a maximum fast charging output of 250 kW DC, enabling charging from 44 to 348 km in about 27 minutes. Standard charging from an 11 kW AC domestic source requires about 8 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge.
Safety
This model received a high safety rating from Euro NCAP, including 97% for protection of adults, 87% for children, 79% for protection of vulnerable road users and 98% for safety assistance systems.
Interior
The interior of the Model Y is simple and elegant, with a 15-inch touchscreen, an immersive sound system and a large glass roof that creates additional headroom and offers an uninterrupted view of the sky.
Exterior
The Model Y features an interesting design that follows the design of the Model 3. The car is fitted with 19-inch wheels and has the option of 20-inch Induction wheels. All versions include LED headlights, folding side mirrors and a tinted glass roof. Dimensionally, the Model Y is slightly narrower but over twenty centimeters shorter than the Model X, measuring around 475cm in length, around 192cm in width without mirrors (around 214cm with mirrors) and around 162cm in height. It comes in a limited color palette, with Pearl White and Midnight Silver Metallic as standard options.
